Booking and Cancellation
Although the dates and prices for any courses are correct at the time of advertising, Gluten Free Gourmet reserves its right to make alterations to the dates and prices, as well as the times and course content. Once you have paid your deposit, or the full amount, the price will not change.
You may pay a deposit of 50% to reserve your place but the full price must be paid up to 28 days prior to the date of the class.
We must receive payment in full from you and you must receive a confirmation of full payment email from us confirming your order before attending a cookery course.
Amendments to bookings for classes can be made up to 28 days prior to the date of the class. If you are unable to attend a class but cannot let us know more than 28 days in advance, you are welcome to send someone in your place as long as you inform us. Unfortunately we can only refund fees if we are able to fill your place and a 10% fee will be retained to cover the marketing and administrative costs in re-advertising your place.
If, through unavoidable circumstances, Gluten Free Gourmet is forced to cancel a course, all course fees will be refunded in full or, transferred to another course (subject to availability). We will not refund any other costs that may have been incurred, such as travel or accommodation costs.
Attendance and Conduct
All of our classes have set start and finish times. Whilst we appreciate that arriving late is not always avoidable, we hope you understand the need to ensure our classes run on time and the content of them is not affected by latecomers. No refunds can be made for time lost. If you are running late, please notify us using the contact details at the top of these terms and conditions.
Participants must be at least 16 to attend a class unaccompanied by an adult. Participants over the ages of 12 (and under the age of 16) must be accompanied by a paying adult. We do not offer discounts for young cooks.
Gluten Free Gourmet shall be under no liability whatsoever for any loss, injury, or damage to course participants or their property, whether in respect of any neglect, act or omission by Gluten Free Gourmet, its agents or employees. For this reason we advise you not to bring any items of special or high value with you.
We also advise that sensible clothing and footwear are worn. Our classes are hands on and involve heat and normal kitchen equipment. We expect all participants to be aware and act appropriately given the risks.
We will be entitled to require you to leave a course if, in our reasonable opinion, you behave in an unacceptable manner or are under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Allergies and Intolerances
If you have an allergy or food intolerance, you must tell us in advance. All of our products are gluten and wheat free but not all of them are diary free or vegan. If you inform us in advance, we will be able to ensure you are well catered for. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate those with nut allergies. If you have informed us of your allergies/intolerances, we will advise you whether or not the course you have picked is suitable for you.
All recipes provided at or in conjunction with the course belong to Gluten Free Gourmet. They cannot be published without the authority of Gluten Free Gourmet.
Gluten Free Gourmet reserves the right to revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating this page.
